Liking this church trend…

A study guide for Jen Wilkin’s Women in the Word…

I love these thin notebooks because I can keep them IN my Bible to mark the page I’m currently studying…

I don’t agree with this entire article, but I do think the church needs to consider how it can engage with feminism with the hope of the Gospel…

You know I can’t help reading about the NLF Anthem “scandal” from the perspective of a military veteran-turned-attorney (and an opinion article from one of the players who started the protest)…

Pleione is one of my favorite brands for cute, affordable tops… (ruffles, sweatshirt, stripes)

How Benny Hinn’s nephew left the prosperity gospel…

A depressing article about old age in America…

I don’t like a lot of Christian premarital advice I read on the web, but this article about six surprises in marriage is a good one…

The cutest fall dress for little girls…

To make you smile in the midst of natural disasters and crazy politics…

Hey Jen, I’m glad you shared Wilkin’s study guide for WOTW. That’s an excellent book to read and resource for deeper study. Speaking of, I began Bible Study Fellowship last week and thoroughly enjoying it. The notebooks you have reminded me I’ve got to get a binder and tabs to organize all this paperwork for BSF!!!!!

I’ve been debating trying BSF! 🙂

Hi. I’m Jen Russum and this blog is where I’ve been sharing narratives of God’s grace for more than a decade now. Some might say “blogs are dead” but I’m waiting for them to come back around like mom jeans and 90s flannel. I enjoy my coffee iced, my summers hot, and my dinner parties long with lots of laughter. I process all of life’s deepest, darkest, and happiest moments by writing essays in my head. When I have the time, some of these essays get typed up and shared here. I’ve always loved to write, and I hope my words bring you joy and encouragement.
