Lovely Little Things

October 29, 2012

Hello to a dear friend visiting from Seattle.
Hello little pie pumpkins on my kitchen table.

Hello deep red skinnies. I couldn’t wait another day to wear you, even though it’s still in the 80s or 90s here.
Hello relaxing weekend camping. I want to go back to the mountains soon!

Hello future baby daddy. You look so cute when you practice 🙂
Hello pumpkin pie blizzard. Would it be bad to eat you at least once a week?
Hello day date in Tucson with my blog best!
Hello s’more thingies that the SIL brought home. You are like marshmallow crack.

Hello first day wearing boots and a scarf this fall {and hello ASU bathroom}.
Hello giddiness over fall fashion… and making it work with a tank when it’s 90 degrees out!
The little things are the loveliest.

I want winter to hurry up. We still have weather hot enough for me to wear a skirt and sandals to work today which is weird when its nearly November!

I know everyone's talking about it on here, but… pumpkin pie blizzard?! Oh, the things you just can't get in Italy. Where's a DQ when I want/need one?

I am in love with those red skinny jeans, I have come to the realization that no pants will fit me as nicely as leggings.. so I've been sticking with those lately 😉 😛

Hi. I’m Jen Russum and this blog is where I’ve been sharing narratives of God’s grace for more than a decade now. Some might say “blogs are dead” but I’m waiting for them to come back around like mom jeans and 90s flannel. I enjoy my coffee iced, my summers hot, and my dinner parties long with lots of laughter. I process all of life’s deepest, darkest, and happiest moments by writing essays in my head. When I have the time, some of these essays get typed up and shared here. I’ve always loved to write, and I hope my words bring you joy and encouragement.
