Life Lately…

September 9, 2013

This will probably be the last time I dump Instagram photos onto my blog before ALL my Instagram photos are taken only of Baby Russum’s sweet little face. It’s okay to be that mom for a while {or forever}, right?
Here is what the past few weeks have looked like… frantically finishing house projects, starting school, enjoying our last few evenings where we can leave the house on a whim without needing childcare, dealing with pregnancy limping and swollen ankles… all the beauty and chaos and anticipation that goes along with awaiting the birth of your first child.

Sprucing up the house and prepping baby stuff…

Pre-baby bucket list activities…
At times thriving; sometimes just surviving…

I am so excited for you! Those weeks leading up to the birth of a baby is a crazy mix of emotions, but oh so sweet. Oh and I feel you on the cankles, with number two I was like that for the last 6 weeks. Torture!

Such a sweet baby belly you are rocking!
I am 16 weeks pregnant with my fourth! Isn't it funny how children TAKE OVER any mom's instagram? Love it!

Pre-baby bucket lists are wonderful things!! Also, I think I spy "Ohs" in your cereal bowl! Those are addictive and my husband and I always fight over the last serving!

you are so adorable!! and if you flood your IG with pics of your baby, I will be totally okay with that as I love babies πŸ™‚ and a bucket list before baby is a great idea! Have you finished everything on the list yet?

visiting from Blair’s link up πŸ™‚

Hi. I’m Jen Russum and this blog is where I’ve been sharing narratives of God’s grace for more than a decade now. Some might say “blogs are dead” but I’m waiting for them to come back around like mom jeans and 90s flannel. I enjoy my coffee iced, my summers hot, and my dinner parties long with lots of laughter. I process all of life’s deepest, darkest, and happiest moments by writing essays in my head. When I have the time, some of these essays get typed up and shared here. I’ve always loved to write, and I hope my words bring you joy and encouragement.
