Faith

• the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is always true, all the time.
• that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• that God created the heavens and the earth and he created humans after His own image.
• that Jesus is fully God and fully man and He lived a sinless life, culminating in His death on a cross to satisfy the wrath of God against sin.
• that everyone is a sinner by nature and choice and because all people have sinned, they have separated themselves from the Holy God.
• in a literal heaven and hell.
• that the gift of grace for those who put their faith in Jesus is salvation from the punishment for sin {hell} in exchange for an eternity of goodness and joy in God’s presence {heaven}.
• that the Holy Spirit is actively at work in every Christian, enabling him or her to live a godly life.
• that the gospel should be passionately and urgently proclaimed to all people with hope that none should perish.
• that Christians should be faithfully committed to worshiping and serving within a local, Gospel-centered church.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
